Ghost Hunting

I've always been fascinated by the unknown—the stories whispered in the dark, the creak of an old floorboard, the chill that dances down your spine when there's no breeze. So, when I discovered The Haunt Ghost Tours in Los Angeles, I knew it was time to face the unknown and tick off a long-standing item on my bucket list - a Ghost Tour.

Armed with EMF meters and spirit boxes, our group embarked on a journey through some of the most haunted sites in the area. These tools, often seen in paranormal investigations, are designed to detect electromagnetic fields and capture potential spirit communications.

Our first stop was the Palomar Inn, a 1927 hotel steeped in history and mystery. Guests have reported unexplained phenomena, from flickering lights to disembodied voices. Some believe the spirits of past patrons still linger, unwilling to check out.

Next, we visited the Welty Building, once a bustling saloon and hotel. It's said that the spirits of former patrons, perhaps still seeking one last drink, make their presence known through sudden cold spots and the faint sound of clinking glasses.

We stopped for a moment to speak with the spirits using our spirit box! For those who are unfamiliar with contacting spirits, the frequencies in a radio can allow voices to be transmitted to the living.

Another stop, The Bank - A tale of Michael "Jerry" Diaz, who attempted the first-ever bank robbery in Riverside County in 1930, adds a layer of intrigue to the tour. The event, marked by tragedy and chaos, is believed to have left an indelible mark on the area, with some claiming to hear echoes of that fateful day.

Next up was the Old Temecula Jail, I felt a palpable tension. This historic site has been the subject of numerous ghost stories, with visitors reporting mysterious sounds and fleeting shadows.

Our final stop was the Hotel Temecula, a place where history and hauntings intertwine. Guests have recounted experiences ranging from unexplained footsteps to apparitions in period attire.

This journey wasn't just about seeking spirits; it was about connecting with the past and confronting the unknown. Each location told a story, not just of hauntings, but of the lives that had once been lived there. It was a night of discovery, reflection, and a touch of the supernatural—a bucket list experience I'll never forget. Next, I want to experience the supernatural by spending the night in a truly haunted location.

Note: The information about the haunted locations is based on local legends and reported experiences. Individual experiences may vary.
